Beverly Hills — The Most Famous Neighbourhood in the World

Beverly Hills is technically its own city — incorporated separately from Los Angeles in 1914 — covering just 5.7 square miles. In those 5.7 miles are some of the most expensive real estate, most exclusive shopping, and most famous addresses on the planet. The 90210 zip code is the most recognisable postal code in the world.

Rodeo Drive

Rodeo Drive is the axis of Beverly Hills — a three-block stretch of North Rodeo Drive between Santa Monica Blvd and Wilshire Blvd that contains more luxury retail per square foot than anywhere else on Earth.

You don't need to buy anything to enjoy Rodeo Drive — window shopping, architecture gazing, and people-watching are all excellent here. The street itself is pedestrian-friendly and genuinely beautiful.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

The Beverly Hills Hotel — known locally as "The Pink Palace" — is one of the most iconic buildings in Los Angeles. Built in 1912 (predating Beverly Hills itself), it's hosted every major Hollywood celebrity, world leader, and cultural figure of the past century. The shocking pink exterior and green-and-white striped cabanas are instantly recognisable.

You can walk up the driveway and photograph the hotel exterior — it's a public street. The famous Polo Lounge inside has hosted more power lunches than any other restaurant in Hollywood history.

Celebrity Homes Tour

Part of what makes the Beverly Hills stop on our tour special is the celebrity neighbourhood drive. Your guide narrates a cruise through the residential streets of Beverly Hills and Bel Air, pointing out the estates, gates, and driveways of Hollywood's biggest names. We won't name specific residents' addresses publicly, but your guide will share what they know live on the tour.

The Original Farmers Market & The Grove

After Beverly Hills, the tour heads to the Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax — one of Los Angeles' most beloved institutions since 1934. This is the lunch stop on our tour, and guests consistently rate it as one of the day's highlights.

The Original Farmers Market

The original market (est. 1934) is a sprawling open-air collection of food stalls, produce stands, specialty shops, and sit-down counters. Some vendors have been here for generations. The atmosphere is warm, unhurried, and authentically LA.

The Grove

Adjacent to the Farmers Market is The Grove — an upscale outdoor shopping mall built in a classic town-square style. With a dancing fountain, a vintage-style trolley, and beautifully designed public spaces, it's one of the most pleasant shopping environments in LA. Great for a post-lunch wander.
