General Questions

The LA City Tour Santa Monica check-in is at 9:30 AM and the Hollywood check-in time is 8:00 AM. Hotel pickups begin between 7:30–9:00 AM. The tour from LA runs approximately 7.5 hours and typically concludes around 5:00 PM (not including hotel drop-off time). The Anaheim tour check-in time is 7:30 AM and hotel pickups begin at 7:00 AM. The tour from Anaheim is also 7.5 hours plus the drive time from Anaheim to LA.

If you booked the meeting point option, you'll receive exact check-in location details in your booking confirmation. We have two meeting point options: a Hollywood area location and a Santa Monica Pier area location. If you booked hotel pickup, we come directly to your hotel lobby — no need to travel anywhere.
You'll visit Venice Beach & Boardwalk (30–40 min), Santa Monica Pier (25–35 min), Beverly Hills & Rodeo Drive (35–45 min), Farmers Market & The Grove for lunch (1 hour), Griffith Park & Observatory (35–45 min), and Hollywood Walk of Fame (30–40 min). Your guide also narrates a drive-by of the Sunset Strip plus every other attraction we drive which are plenty!
Yes — lunch is built into the tour! Stop 4 is a 1-hour lunch break at the famous Farmers Market and The Grove. There are dozens of food stalls and restaurants to choose from at all price points. Complimentary bottled water is provided throughout the day.
The tour is narrated on the bus throughout the day and your guide provides context and stories at each stop. Once at a stop, you explore at your own pace within the time window.
Children are welcome! Kids 12 and under are $89 for the meeting point option and $99 with hotel pickup. The tour is family-friendly throughout.
We offer free cancellation within 24 hours of your tour start time. If you’re dissatisfied with your tour for any reason, contact us and we’ll get you on a tour with a different guide at no charge.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on the tour bus. Service animals with proper documentation may be accommodated — please contact us in advance at (310) 340-0933.
Los Angeles has great weather year-round, but spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) offer the most pleasant temperatures. Summer brings larger crowds but guaranteed sunshine.

Hotel pickup means we come directly to your hotel lobby — the most convenient option for a small premium. Meeting point means you make your own way to a designated check-in location. Both enjoy the exact same tour experience.
Parking details are included in your booking confirmation email. Generally, there are paid lots and street parking near both meeting point locations. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early.
The LA City Tour includes 6 stops plus a narrated drive-by. You’ll spend 30–45 minutes at each stop to explore, take photos, and experience each neighborhood, plus 1 hour at the Farmers Market for lunch.

Yes — you’ll see the same stops. The key difference is departure time (7:30 AM from Anaheim vs 9:30 AM from LA) and pickup location. The Anaheim tour is a slightly longer day due to the drive from Anaheim to LA and back.

At our Santa Monica check-in location, parking is available across the street at 1555 2nd St, Santa Monica, CA 90401 for about $20 per day. For our Hollywood check-in, parking is available at the Hollywood and Highland Center.

Yes, all passengers including infants require a ticket. Every passenger must have a reserved seat for insurance and safety purposes.

Venice Beach has a lot to offer! You'll see the iconic boardwalk, Muscle Beach, Venice Skate Park, street performers, and some of the best people-watching anywhere in the world. It's pure California culture.

Walk Rodeo Drive, see the famous Beverly Hills sign, and cruise the Wilshire Corridor. You'll get to explore the glamour and architecture of one of the world's most famous zip codes.

We are generally not able to enter LAX airport. However, we do pick up from many hotels in the vicinity of LAX. Many of these hotels offer a free shuttle from the airport. See our full hotel pickup list for details.

Check the weather before you come. Generally jeans or shorts, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt for the morning are all you need. Bring sunglasses, a camera, your wallet, and some spending money for lunch. Bottled water is provided on the bus.

Yes, you'll receive a booking confirmation email with your ticket. Have it ready on your phone or printed when you check in.

Seats are not pre-assigned. You're welcome to sit together with your group — just arrive a few minutes early to make sure you get seats together.

Gratuity is not included. If you enjoy your tour, tips are always appreciated by your guide.

Our tours are conducted in English. However, our guides are very visual and descriptive, and many guests whose first language is not English find the tour easy to follow.

Yes! The metro line to Santa Monica stops within 5 blocks of our Santa Monica meeting point. You can plan your route using Google Maps.

Studios are part of our Hollywood driving tour, so you will see them, but they are not stops where you get off the bus.

We recommend booking as soon as you know your travel dates. During popular travel times — summer, spring break, and winter holidays — our tours sell out well in advance.

We do a narrated drive-by of the Sunset Strip, pointing out the iconic locations and history. It's a great way to experience it without spending the whole day there.
